Hello Judge. I don't even know were to begin, except that I hope you make a public and loud statement regarding Dr. Ron Paul's exclusion from the Fox News January 6 debates:
http://ronpaul2008.typepad.com/ron_paul_2008/2007/12/has-fox-news-ex.html
You and Ron Paul understand freedom more than anyone else in this country. Can you please come to Ron Paul's side and demand he be included in the debate?
We need a voice like yours.
Thank you for your time.
P.S. I just bought your book at Borders!

I called customer service, but they were no help, stating that options may change without notice and there is nothing that can be done. Nice one VW.
Here is something else that just changed without notice: I most likely won't own a third V-Dub, instead choosing a manufacturer who actually cares about customer service. It's not the Floor Mats, stupid.

Recently, I've been seeing videos of RP supporters at rallies for other candidates, and I have to say that I'm appalled at some actions. Below are my thoughts:
- First, it appears that you are using Ron Paul as a reason to protest the other candidates. That is a complete disservice to Ron Paul, supporters like me, and possible future RP supporter - for a few reasons.
- In your brilliant attempts to "promote" Ron Paul by protesting WHATEVER, you are alienating voters. When people choose a candidate, a sort of bond is created. When you "protest," those people will immediately put up a defense. Why? Because an attack on their candidate is an attack on them. You will NEVER convince people that Ron Paul is the right choice under these circumstances.
- If you are protesting the candidate, leave Ron Paul out of it. Protesting Rudy is your agenda, not Dr. Paul's. In fact, I'm sure that the approach you are taking is opposite of what Ron Paul would do. Brute Force is never better than Reason. If someone chooses Rudy simply because of his name, what makes you think that pushing Ron Paul in their face is going to change anything?
- A better approach is to walk around and talk with people. Present you case in a clear way, like Ron Paul would. Hand out literature. Acknowledge that they are Rudy, or Fred, or Mitt supporters, and ask them why they support that candidate. Then calmly present your case for why you support Ron Paul. Keep it short and sweet, and hand them whatever information you have, asking them to at least consider Ron Paul's points. In addition, BE PREPARED TO LEAVE if someone doesn't want to talk to you. Thank them and smile.
- Second, are you not protesting the candidate? Then why the hell are you there?
- I've heard some argue that they are protesting the MSM's coverage of Ron Paul. Why, then, aren't you protesting at the offices of those companies? Call local papers to cover it, but never be a jackass. Remember, if you have a Ron Paul sign, OR EVEN USE HIS NAME, everything you do or say will reflect on Ron Paul.
- If you are protesting the MSM just to do so, leave Ron Paul out of it. Stand on your own merits, and don't use Ron Paul's name as a crutch.
- Lastly, if you find yourself saying something like "So, you wouldn't vote for Ron Paul because of me," then you've done more damage than you can possibly recover from. Instead, smile, apologize and explain why you are so passionate, hand some literature, and WALK AWAY. You aren't making things any better.
I hope that you consider my thoughts the next time you rally.

Talking Heads - Listening Wind
Mojique sees his village from a nearby hill
Mojique thinks of the days before Americans came
He sees the foreigners in growing numbers
He sees the foreigners in fancy houses
He thinks of the days that he can still remember...now.
Mojique holds a package in his quivering hands
Mojique sends the package to the American man
Softly, he glides along the streets and alleys
Up comes the wind that makes them run for cover
He feels the time is surely now or never...more.
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
The dust in my head
The dust in my head
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
(Come to) Drive them away
Drive them away.
Mojique buys equipment in the marketplace
Mojique plants devices in the free trade zone
He feels the wind is lifting up his people
He calls the wind to guide him on his mission
He know his friend the wind is always standing...by.
Mojique smells the wind that comes from far away
Mojique waits for news in a quiet place
He feels the presence of the wind around him
He feels the power of the past behind him
He has the knowledge of the wind to guide him...on.
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
The dust in my head
The dust in my head
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
(Come to) Drive them away
Drive them away.

Waterboarding in History: A lesson dedicated to Schumer and Feinstein
From the post:
Brasil: Nunca Mais is a study of state repression during the Brazilian military dictatorship from 1964-1985. Undertaken clandestinely by a team of lawyers, clergymen, and others, the study is based entirely on the Brazilian government’s own records of interrogations, disappearances, and other operations taken on in the name of national security. The documents were photocopied secretly until the archives of the Supreme Military Tribunal were reproduced. To date, the identity of many of the project’s participants is unknown. The book was first published in 1985, the final year of the Brazilian dictatorship. It is an abridged version of the complete work, which is over 5,000 pages long.

I will provide food/drink, and some sign making supplies (ie, others will need to contribute to the cost of supplies). In addition to sign making, I'm willing to put up $1000.00 toward a billboard advertisement, provided we can raise another $1,600 to meet the cost (Lamar costs are roughly that amount for the ideal size/location we would need). If anyone is interested, email me at grover.blue@gmail.com.

Ron Paul's H.R. 1009
INDUSTRIAL HEMP FARMING ACT OF 2007The bills co-sponsors (Rep):
Barney Frank (D-MA)
Raul Grijalva (D-AZ)
Maurice Hinchey (D-NY)
Dennis Kucinich (D-OH)
Jim McDermott (D-WA)
George Miller (D-CA)
Pete Stark (D-CA)
Lynn Woolsey (D-CA)
"It is indefensible that the United States government prevents American farmers from growing this crop. The prohibition subsidizes farmers in countries from Canada to Romania by eliminating American competition and encourages jobs in industries such as food, auto parts and clothing that utilize industrial hemp to be located overseas instead of in the United States," said Dr. Paul. "By passing the Industrial Hemp Farming Act the House of Representatives can help American farmers and reduce the trade deficit -- all without spending a single taxpayer dollar."
Milton Friedman [founding father of the Reagan Revolution] leads a list of more than 500 economists from around the U.S. who today will publicly endorse a Harvard University economist's report on the costs of marijuana prohibition and the potential revenue gains from the U.S. government instead legalizing it and taxing its sale. Ending prohibition enforcement would save $7.7 billion in combined state and federal spending, the report says, while taxation would yield up to $6.2 billion a year.
Replacing marijuana prohibition with a system of taxation and regulation similar to that used for alcoholic beverages would produce combined savings and tax revenues of between $10 billion and $14 billion per year, finds a June 2005 report by Dr. Jeffrey Miron, visiting professor of economics at Harvard University.
Criminalizing marijuana causes problems:
Unnamed Florida college student
On June 6, 2003, a 19-year-old Alachua County, Florida, college student was raped by his cellmate as he served the first of four weekend sentences for delivering marijuana, a felony offense. The student's cellmate was a violent offender in jail awaiting trial on sexual battery charges; the two men shared a cell because of jail overcrowding.
Cheryl Noel
In January 2005, 44-year-old Cheryl Noel was shot and killed by police officers raiding her Maryland home for drugs. Noel, who had been asleep when the raid started, came to her bedroom door with a gun — presumably in self-defense — and was shot and killed. Noel's husband, son, and a family friend staying in the house were charged with possession of a small quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Clayton Helriggle
In September 27, 2002, armed police officers raided a rural farmhouse in West Alexandria, Ohio, based on a tip from a convicted felon that there were drugs in the house. Nearly 30 officers, clad in body armor and riot shields, stormed the house with a battering ram and detonated stun grenades to disorient the occupants of the house. Awoken from his nap by the noise, 23-year-old Clayton Helriggle walked downstairs — allegedly with a gun — and was promptly shot in the chest by police. Two minutes later, he was dead in the arms of a roommate.
Jimmy Montgomery
Paraplegic medical marijuana patient Jimmy Montgomery was given a life sentence (later reduced to 10 years) for possessing two ounces of marijuana with intent to distribute. Evidence that he intended to distribute the marijuana came from a sheriff's deputy who was later convicted of embezzling seized property and assets.
